Stuart: Pierre-Luc Beaudoin and Alp Toker implemented video support in WebKit GTK using GStreamer months ago, but probably (I never tried it) it needs some more love before being fully working.

Mozilla has the option of using gstreamer, quicktime or directX on the relevant platform but handles ogg/theora natively on all platforms without even gstreamer I believe so you don’t need to have the appropraite codec etc installed.
